Frank Oppong-Takyi Internal Medicine Physician in Phoenix AZ
Dr Frank Oppong-Takyi (fondly known to his patients as Dr O) is a Board Certified Internist with the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Member of the American College of Physicians.
He graduated from Medical School in 1993 from University of Ghana Medical School, completed his residency in New York in June 2002
Dr O has been practicing medicine in Arizona since February 2003. He was initially practicing in Southeastern Arizona but relocated to the Phoenix Metro Area in September 2008.
He is very passionate about helping his patients achieve their health goals and believes it is very difficult for people to change their lifestyles and routines overnight after being diagnosed with illnesses so works diligently with them to achieve their health goals one step at a time. He is great with his patients and makes them feel very comfortable every visit they see him.
He is married with 2 boys and has a keen interest in sports, his community and family. He loves the outdoors.

He treats you like you are his only patient Dr. O is very pragmatic. He sees you and takes into context you and your environment around you. He is my GP. When Dr. O was in Safford, he treated my grandmother. No one else knew what was wrong with her. He diagnosed her with needing her gallbladder out within 5 minutes of seeing her. After that, I became his patient until he relocated. I sure miss quality medical care. Dr. O is the BEST! Dr. O is incredible! He truly cares for his patients and invests his time to getting to know his patients individually. My whole family goes to him, he is so kind and easy to talk to. He doesn't give anyone a hard time to make them feel bad, he simply cares so when he is offering education, you won't feel bad after. We've been going to him a long time and we plan to stay with him as long as he'll have us! 🙂 Dr O is by far one of the best doctors I have ever met (and I'm a nurse!) and the best primary doctor I have ever had. He is the first PCP I've had that takes the time to really listen, address all your concerns and not make you feel rushed. Dr O is sincere and genuine. You can tell how much he cares about his patients. He is an excellent physician with a wonderful bedside manner. I feel so comfortable under his care. Dr O office staff are fabulous as well! They treat you with such respect and kindness. There is such a warm feeling when you walk into the office from both the staff and Dr O. I'm so glad I found Dr O! Dr. O is an incredible family Dr. I have recommended him to others and it is nice to know you have a Dr. you can trust. Thanks, DR. O! Dr O and his staff really care about the patients. He make great medical decisions with care about the patients concerns & feedback. We love him!!! Dr O. has been nothing but GREAT with treating me and all my medical conditions. Very Caring and good listener. I been with Doc at least 5 years and my family at least 4 years. Dr. O is an excellent doctor.. He is very knowledgeable and since he has been treating me I have no need to go else where. The service was amazing. Staff was very friendly
